Mabton summer program offers adventure

MABTON - Mabton children interested in learning more about a summer of adventures and travel are invited to attend Mabton Summer Rocks, an educational enhancement program, which begins June 23, at Mabton Jr./Sr. High School.

Designed for sixth through eighth grade students, the program will include field trips, wildlife study and camping trips Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sites of scheduled field trips include are travels to the Multnomah Falls in Oregon, Dinosaur Park in Granger, Toppenish Wildlife Refuge and the Discovery Museum in the Dalles, Ore.

The six-week program is under the direction of Paul Jepson and David Mendoza. Space is limited so pre-registration is required.
