Block Watch revitalization meeting Tuesday

The Friends of Sunnyside, said Dr. Jim Stevens, wants to resurrect the Block Watch programs in the community.

Stevens said a meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 15, with the focus being to get numerous Block Watch programs up and operating. He said the 7:30 p.m. meeting at the Banner Bank meeting room is open to all community residents.

He also noted that City Manager Bob Stockwell will be at the meeting, and that Police Chief Ed Radder has been invited to attend to help provide information on what must be done to form a successful Block Watch program.
