A woman who parked her car at Sunnyside High School while in a meeting returned to find her vehicle stolen yesterday.
The missing car, a 1987 Toyota, was parked on the west side of the high school at about 6 p.m. When the woman returned an hour and a half later the vehicle was gone.
According to the police report, the vehicle had a broken window that wouldn't roll up all the way. The owner believed that the vehicle could be started with any key.
Police are also investigating a burglary in the 2300 block of East Edison Avenue. A complete list of items taken from the home has not been finished, but the thieves did get away with the victim's telephone.
