Sunnyside business vandalized

A downtown Sunnyside business has been the victim of vandals.

Early this morning (Monday) police found the front window of the Blue Moon Tavern, 600 E. Edison Avenue, broken out.

The broken window was found shortly after 6 a.m.

A meat market in the 100 block of North Sixth Street was also targeted this past weekend. The cash register was reported missing at 5 a.m. this past Saturday morning.

Sunnyside police are also investigating a report of prescription fraud at Bi-Mart, 100 block of South Hill Road. The fraud was reported last Friday morning.

Also this past weekend, a blue Honda Accord was reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of West Parkland Drive. The vehicle was reportedly not locked, but the keys were not in it, according to police.
