Early fall AAU basketball league gets started

The Inland Empire Amateur Athletic Union's early fall basketball league got started Oct. 22.

The league has 320 boys and girls teams in 1st through 8th grades in cities ranging from Cle Elum in the north to the Tri-Cities in the south.

The teams will continue play every weekend until Dec. 10, with the exception of the Thanksgiving weekend.

Games will continue to be held at sites throughout eastern Washington in the Three Rivers League.
