Charges are pending against two juveniles, regarding the vandalism reported Oct. 1, at Sunnyside Christian High School.
According to Sgt. Kent Coffman, School Resource Officer Chico Rodriguez took two boys of high school age to the police department shortly after the incident, where they gave statements.
"Charges are pending, and the investigation is continuing," said Coffman.
The two boys were released to their parents.
Damage to the school's soccer field, which was torn up by a vehicle that drove through the south end of the soccer field, cutting doughnuts there and in the front yard of the school, was estimated at $2,000, according to Sgt. Coffman.
