Ralph K. Scott, 57, of Grandview, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at Yakima Regional Hospital.
He was born Jan. 22, 1948 to Lloyd W. and Betty Jo (Flickinger) Scott in Yakima. He received his early education in Yakima, later receiving his GED in Kalamazoo, Mich. He served in the United States Army and worked for Grandview's public works, fire and police departments.
On Oct. 26, 1968 he married Patricia Thurman in Yakima.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia A. Scott of Grandview; his three daughters, Debra Lozier and husband, Robert, of Pasco, Ann Blosser and husband, David, of Kennewick and Gwen Scott of Richland; his mother, Betty Jo Blevins of Yakima; three brothers, Melvin Scott of Alabama, Tim Scott of Colfax and Larry Scott of Yakima; one sister, Penny Taylor of Vancouver; four stepbrothers; one stepsister; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Scott.
Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Grandview. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at 10 a.m. at the Grandview Nazarene Church with burial to follow at West Hills Memorial Park, Yakima.
