Food and entertainment offered up at Lower Valley Pregnancy Center fund raiser

The Lower Valley Pregnancy Center will be hosting a fund- raiser Nov. 3.

The Thursday night event will start at 6:45 p.m. at the Neighborhood Church, 585 Allen Rd. in Sunnyside.

The entertainment lined up for the fund-raiser is comedian Mike Williams and motivational speaker Tim DeTellis.

Williams was the featured comedian on the Emmy Award winning Bananas television show. He has been a prop writer for Carrot Top and has written the Turkey Soup for the Sarcastic Soul volumes.

Williams has also recorded musical CDs, with "Songs not to listen to while lying in the bathtub holding electrical appliances" being one of them.

DeTellis is a motivational speaker from Boston, Mass. He made medical history in 1972 for receiving the most blood transfusions, 43, with five being before he was born.

DeTellis travels across the U.S. speaking at churches, colleges, organizations and Christian events on the topic of living out your best life every day.

Dinner will be catered by Country Gentleman from the Tri-Cities and there is no charge for the dinner or the show.

There will be an opportunity during the night to make a financial contribution to the Lower Valley Pregnancy Center.

The Lower Valley Pregnancy Center is a faith based organization specializing in helping women through unwanted pregnancies.
