Spanish-language ecomonic development meeting moved to Nov. 9

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Sunnyside Spanish-language public forum on economic development has been moved to Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Worksource Center, 1925 Morgan Road.

The session begins at 5:30 p.m. and will last approximately one hour.

An English-language forum was held Thursday evening in Sunnyside, with reminders that all business applications must be received by Dec. 1 for consideration in Yakima County's Economic Development plan.

Grant funds through the economic development program have, in the past, facilitated growth such as the Darigold complex on Alexander Road. Small business applications are welcome, as well.

For more information contact Dave McFadden, President of the Yakima County Development Association, at 509-575-1140.
