Line dance exercise classes offered in S’side
Instructor Sandi Buchmann will begin teaching line dance
excercise classes at the Sunnyside Community Center on Monday, Sept. 12.
Buchmann said the classes, seven in all, are a means to gain
a great aerobic workout while learning to line dance. The class focus, she
said, will be on learning the basic line dance steps,
The cost to attend the classes, which will be held for seven
consecutive Mondays, is $30 for Sunnyside residents, $37.50 for all others. A
5:30 to 6:30 session will be held for beginners, with an hour long session to
follow for intermediate and advanced dancers.

3.8 percent raise in insurance rates
The Department of Labor and Industries is proposing
increasing hourly workers compensation insurance rates by an average of 3.8
percent in 2006.
If adopted, say L&I officials, the higher premiums would
cover anticipated increases in the cost of medical and wage replacement
benefits paid to workers injured on the job.
