Clinton P. Roberts, 87, of Richland and a former Grandview
resident died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, in Kennewick.
He was born Nov. 18, 1917 in Colcord, Okla. to Herman W.
and Hattie (Sisson) Roberts. On Sept. 30, 1937 he married Willa Mae Faulk in
Jay, Okla. He worked for George Parker Fruit Ranch in Grandview and in
construction at Hanford.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Willa Mae Roberts
of Richland; his daughter, Claudie Ann Cyr and husband, Pete, of Sedro Woolley;
one son, Clinton E. Roberts and wife, Ann, of Richland; one sister, Evelyn
Dalton of Sweet Home, Ore.; three brothers, Herman Roberts, Jr. of Prosser, Roy
Roberts of Sweet Home and Donald Roberts of Albany, Ore.; five grandchildren;
and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Franklin
D. Roberts; and one brother, Howard Roberts.
Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 30, 2005,
from 2 until 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, from 9 until 11 a.m. at Smith
Funeral Home, Grandview. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Oct. 1,
2005, at 11:30 a.m. at Grandview Cemetery, Grandview. Smith Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
