Murder suspect trail date set for December

Renee Joseph Ramos will face a felony charge of murder in the second degree in Yakima County Superior Court when his case goes to trial on Dec. 5.

Ramos is facing charges stemming from the July 3 stabbing death of Idise Irene Holland, who was found stabbed to death in a Sunnyside motel.

Ramos was originally set to go to trial on Aug. 29, but the process was delayed. According to the Yakima County Prosecutor's Office, Ramos will have an omnibus hearing on Nov. 17 before the pending December trial date.
