No hazardous items accepted in Grandview clean-up

GRANDVIEW - When the City of Grandview hosts a city-wide clean-up April 17-21, it will not be accepting hazardous items such as car parts, paint, aerosols, poisons or inflammable liquids.

Local residents may put other unwanted items near their garbage cans. A public works crew will pick up the items on the day of the resident's regular garbage pick-up.

It should be noted that a fee will be added to each resident's utility bill if appliances or car and truck tires are put out to be hauled away.
