Mabton FFA Easter egg hunt planned

MABTON - The Mabton High School's chapter of FFA will be sponsoring an Easter egg hunt this Saturday, April 15, at the Mabton High School football field, at 9 a.m.

According to Mabton's FFA advisor, Brock Ledgerwood, every child will win something. "The entry is free and every child who comes will get a raffle ticket," he said.

After the Easter egg hunt, the Mabton FFA will raffle off prizes, including Easter baskets, stuffed animals, gifts and other prizes. Also, a bag of candy will be given out to each child as they leave.

The Easter egg hunt is a community service activity. "The kids wanted to have an Easter egg hunt," Ledgerwood said. "They wanted to give back to the kids and the community."
