Spring turkey hunt limit is three birds
Although the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission
recently expanded harvest opportunities for turkeys this fall, only three birds
may be harvested per person during the 2006 spring season, which runs April 15
to May 15.
During the spring hunt, two birds can be taken in Eastern
Washington, only one of which may be harvested in the area that includes
Chelan, Kittitas and Yakima Counties. Two birds may be taken in Klickitat
County and only one turkey may be harvested in Western Washington.
