The budgeted amount for 2007 is $2,921,972.

Fire Department volunteers will see a boost in pay from $4.76 per call to $6 per call, and will no longer have to use their own vehicles for training. Also, the fire department will purchase three new responder devices to keep up with technological changes within Yakima County.
