Doris Kay Brock, 66, of Grandview, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away Dec. 25, 2006, at her home.

She was born Sept. 21, 1940, in Port Orchard, Wash. to Peter Nicolai and Clara Adeline (Bottom) Schille. She received her education in Seattle graduating from West Seattle High School. On Dec. 30, 1961, she married Kenneth H. Brock in Seattle. Doris was a Senior Executive Assistant for 20 years at Hanford.

She idolized Elvis and enjoyed Yorkies, old cars, doll collecting, Hummell collecting, beaches and the islands of Hawaii. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was a member of the Vintiques Street Rod club.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth H. Brock of Grandview; her daughter, Kristi L. Jongsma and husband, Jerry, of Sunnyside; two sons, Blaine A. Brock and wife, Renee L. Brock, of Port Orchard and Guy K. Brock; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Jared, Matthew, Kaylynn and Taylor Jongsma, all of Sunnyside, and Nathan, Kenny and Dylan Brock, all of Port Orchard. She is also survived by two sisters, Diane Lutes and Shirley Hinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Brian L. Brock.

Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, from noon to 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, with burial to be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
