Outlook woman named WSU counselor

PULLMAN - Ali Albrecht, daughter of Sue and Jeff Albrecht of Outlook, has been selected to serve as an orientation counselor for a Washington State University summer program.

Albrecht will be working with the Alive! orientation program welcoming new students and parents to WSU, where she is a junior studying neuroscience.

Albrecht is a 2003 graduate of Sunnyside High School.

Sunnyside woman on Gonzaga U's dean's list

SPOKANE - Alissa Marie Van de Graaf of Sunnyside, who is a senior at Gonzaga University, is among 592 students who were named to the Dean's List for fall semester.

Students who achieve that honor must earn a 3.5 to 3.69 grade point average to be eligible.

Gonzaga has a student enrollment of about 6,400 students and offers seven undergraduate degrees in 43 majors, 26 master's programs, a Ph.D. program in leadership studies and a juris doctorate through its School of Law.
