Ruth A. Lewandowski, 90, of Boise, Idaho went to be with Jesus in the early morning hours Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, of natural causes.

Ruth was born Aug. 13, 1915 in rural Columbia County to Elmer and Amelia Searl. She grew up and graduated from high school in Dayton. Ruth married Ernest Lewandowski on Oct. 19, 1938. Ruth is survived by five of her six children, Mae (George) Marsolek of Greenville, Tenn., Betty (Ken) Nason of Hubbard, Iowa, Louella (Marvin) Hansen of Caldwell, Calvin (Anne) Lewandowski of Lenexa, Kansas and Wanda (Leon) Dazey of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers, Everett and Oliver; her husband, Ernest, in July 1988; and her son, Robert, in July 2005.
