Two burglaries, two thefts reported in Sunnyside

Two burglaries and a theft were reported in Sunnyside yesterday and another theft early this morning.

Wednesday resident in the 100 block of South 15th Street reported to police at 11:45 a.m. that, when he returned home, he found his home burglarized. At 3:33 p.m a resident in the 1300 block of East Lincoln Avenue reported his home was broken into.

A shoplifting incident Wednesday was reported at 5:49 p.m. at Wal-Mart, where, police were being told, an uncooperative female suspect was being held. The second theft, which was reported today at 4:57 a.m., was of a wallet taken from a vehicle in which the window had been broken to gain access.

In other police activity from yesterday morning to 7:15 this morning police investigated one family fight, one harassment, one threat, four false alarms, one juvenile problem, two vandalism, three suspicious persons or circumstances, one fight, one traffic and three animal problems.

They also issued one arrest warrant, fielded three informational calls, provided an extra patrol and gave three assists to agencies or citizens.
