LYLE H. FOLDEN
Lyle H. Folden, 88, of Grandview died Wednesday, Jan. 25,
2006, due to an automobile accident.
He was born July 10, 1917 in Beatrice, Neb., the son of
Edith (Vandergrift) and Len Folden.
He married Vernice Carel in Beatrice. In 1953 the Foldens
moved to Grandview.
He is survived by five stepchildren; a number of
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, John and Maxine Folden of
Emmett, Idaho; two sisters, Zona and Fred Henning of Grandview and Loretta and
Ken Salts of Yakima; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a stepdaughter; his
parents; three son-in-laws; four brothers; and two sisters.
Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006,
from 2 to 7 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Funeral services will be
held Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Burial
will be at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in the Veterans section, under the
direction of Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside.
KARL EDMOND HENDERSON
Karl Edmond Henderson, 75, of Mabton died Thursday, Jan.
26, 2006, at his home.
He was born Oct. 3, 1930 to Samuel Dayton and Genevieve
(Trautman) Henderson in Blue Mound, Kan. On Feb. 24, 1994 he married Betty
Henderson in Mabton, where they made their home.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Henderson of Mabton; two
daughters, Donita Robinson and Dorothy Ransier; one son, Lee Henderson; seven
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Emil Trautman.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, at 1
p.m. at Grace Brethren Church in Mabton. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of
