two is for the well house reconstruction.

Councilman McLean resigns
GRANDVIEW - The Grandview City Council accepted the
resignation of council member Rick McLean at Monday night's council meeting.
In McLean's resignation letter, he said he had enjoyed
working with the council on the many projects and policies the council has
implemented in the past. Noting his work obligations are taking him out of town
more often, it has been difficult for him to fulfill his duties to the council.
The city will be taking applications until the end of the
month. All interested applicants must pick up an application at city hall and
submit this with a letter of interest and a resume, addressed to the mayor.
All applicants must be registered to vote and have lived in
the Grandview city limits for one year. The qualified applicant will serve on
the council's position number two seat until November 2007, when the next
election will take place.
