Grandview golfer hits first hole-in-one

Grandview's John Prilucik has toiled at the game of golf for 32 years. His efforts were rewarded last week when he aced the ninth hole at Sunnyside's Black Rock Creek Golf Course.

His first ever hole-in-one was witnessed by Jim Lachut and Larry Lockard.

Prilucik, facing a stiff head wind off the blocks, used a 4-iron on the 168-yard, par-3 tee shot. When driving the slightly elevated ninth green at Black Rock Creek, golfers must carry a pond that extends to within approximately 40 yards of the putting surface.

The ace Prilucik snared on No. 9 closed out his front side score to a 41. The Grandview linkster carded a 47 after the turn for an overall score of 88.
