FRED R. EHART
Fred R. Ehart, 72, of Grandview died Friday, June 9, 2006,
at Grandview Healthcare Center.
He was born Dec. 16, 1933 in Weed, N.M. to Tom R. and Anna
Mae (Davis) Ehart. He received his education in Grandview, graduating with the
Grandview High School Class of 1952. On Nov. 22, 1955, he married Beverly
Everett in Grandview. From 1955 to 1977, he served in the U.S. Air force.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Ehart of Grandview; his
children, Janette Ottinger and husband, David, Susan Ehart, Maria Carol Zona
and husband, Nichols, James Ehart, Jeffery Ehart, Travis Ehart and wife,
Blanca, Tamara Ehart and Anthony Ehart; nine grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Anna Bell Moore and
Ivel Blasdale; and one brother, John Ehart.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, William
(Bill) Ehart; one sister, Tommye Richie; and one brother, Herbert.

KENNETH DARRELL JENSEN
Kenneth Darrell Jensen, 85, of Fremont, Calif. died
Saturday, June 3, 2006, at his home.
He was born June 12, 1920.
He is survived by his daughter, Jill Teater and husband,
William, of Brighton, Colo.; one son, Jeffrey Jensen and wife, Linda, of
Fremont; two brothers, Keith Jensen of Bickleton and William Jensen of Boise,
Idaho; seven grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Herlinda B. Mercado, 67, of Sunnyside died Thursday, June
8, 2006, at Yakima Regional Hospital.
She was born Oct. 10, 1938 in Durango, Mexico to Juan and

of Sunnyside; her father, Juan Barrios of Durango, Mexico; three sons, Enrique
Mercado and wife, Paula, of Sunnyside, Hernesto Mercado of Tempe, Ariz. and
Roberto Mercado and wife, Teresa, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Alicia
Godina and husband, Jesus, of Toppenish; 14 grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Luz Barrios; one
son, Salvado Mercado; and her sister, Petra Alvarez.
Mass of Christian Burial were held Monday, June 12, 2006,
at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sunnyside with burial to follow at
