JENNIFER JOAN ASHLEY

Jennifer Joan Ashley, 26, of Sunnyside died Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at Sunnyside Community Hospital.

Jennifer was born May 5, 1980 in Yakima, the daughter of Keith and Mary Ann (St. Hilaire) Ashley.

Jennifer is survived by her daughter, Kira Meyer of Grandview; and one son, Hunter Meyer of Sunnyside; her parents, Keith and Mary Ann Ashley of Grandview; her grandmother, Mary St. Hilaire of Prosser; two step-brothers, Donald Ashley and Kenneth Ashley; and one sister, Sherry Ashley.

Private family burial services will be held at the Grandview Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Grandview.

WILLIAM E. BARNETT

William “Bill” E. Barnett, 71 of Mabton died Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at his home.

He was born June 5, 1935 in Toppenish to Melvin and Alice Barnett. He married June Lacy on March 12, 1953 in Toppenish. He worked at U & I Sugar factory in Toppenish. He also worked at Del Monte in farm maintenance, retiring in 1993, when he moved to Mabton.

He is survived by two sons, Scott and Donna Barnett of Rockaway Beach, Ore. and Ed and Jodi Barnett of Mabton; one daughter Sharon and Charles Ott of Prosser; four brothers, Frank and Lena Barnett of Yakima, Gene and Helen Barnett of Sunnyside, Mike and Becky Barnett of Yakima and Joe and Marsha Barnett of Goldendale; and four sisters, JoAnne and Hermann Liebreht of Moses Lake, Virginia Barnett of Seattle, Grace and Don Wagoner of Yakima and Mary Jane Thysill of Lyle; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, June Barnett and a brother, David Barnett.

Graveside services will be held Monday, June 19, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Zillah City Cemetery. Valley Hills Funeral Home, Zillah is in charge of arrangements. Online guest book at valleyhillsfh.com

RICHARD ALAN FREDRICKS

Richard Alan Fredricks, 52, of Grandview died Thursday, June 15, 2006, at Kadlec Medical Center.

He was born in Mt. Home, Idaho. He worked in banking and was a supervisor of Cash Flo Division in Seattle.

He is survived by his parents, Claude and Patricia Fredricks of Grandview; one brother, Ronald Fredricks and wife, Keiko, of Portland; and nephews.
