Patrick John Shea, 68, of Grandview died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at Yakima Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 14, 1937 in Kelso to Jack and Myrtle (Penn) Shea. He received his education in Prosser and graduated with the Prosser High School Class of 1956. Following his education, he served in the U.S. Navy. On Aug. 8, 1956 he married Janet Woodworth in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. In 1961 They moved to Grandview, where he worked in construction.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Shea of Grandview; his children, John Patrick Shea Jr. and wife, Jene, of Sedro Wooley, Terry Branham and husband, Steve, of Iowa, Mary Roden of McKenna and Jim Shea and wife, Lea, of Grandview; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, March 10, 2006, from 3 until 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. An Irish Wake will be held Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 1 p.m. at the family home, 941 Bethany Road, Grandview. Those wishing to honor his memory may contribute to the American Cancer Society. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
