Business start-up seminar offered

at no cost to public

RICHLAND – Three Rivers Entrepreneur Network is sponsoring a free business start-up seminar at the Richland Community Center on Tuesday, March 28, from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m.

Bob Sailer, a partner with Pacific NorthWest Law Group, will be the guest speaker. His topics of dicussion will include ownership and investor agreements, intellectual property protection and management, contracts and start-up funding.

The free seminar will include a continental breakfast. It is open to the public, but preference will be given to technology-based businesses. Registration (509-375-2068) must be completed by March 24.

Tickets available for Sunnyside Chamber’s annual awards banquet

It’s not too late to secure a ticket for the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards banquet and auction.

This year’s banquet is slated for Saturday, March 11. A no-host social and silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m., with a buffet style dinner to be served at 6:30 p.m. The evening social will include an awards ceremony and musical entertainment.

The Sunnyside St. Joseph gymnasium is the new venue for the annual event.

Tickets, priced at $25 per person, are available at the Chamber office (230 E. Edison Ave.) and at HairWorks (1417 Lincoln Ave.). Some tickets will also be available at the door Saturday evening.
