Dairy Fair to hold Easter Egg hunt and coloring contest
Children ages one to nine will have the chance to
participate in an Easter Egg hunt and coloring contest on Saturday, April 15,
at Darigold's Dairy Fair in Sunnyside.
The egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. for children one and two,
10:15 for children three and four, 10:30 for children five and six, and 10:45
to children seven to nine.
More than 4,000 plastic eggs will be hidden for children to
find and will all contain a treat, prize or coupon.
Age categories for the coloring contest will be identical to
those of the Easter Egg hunt, and entries must be submitted by 2 p.m. on
Friday, April 14.
Winners in each of the coloring contest categories will win
an Easter Basket full of goodies. Participants don't need to be present to win.
Coloring sheets can be picked up at the Dairy Fair.

High school fashion show tonight
The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)
will present the Sunnyside High School Fashion Show tonight (Thursday) at 7
p.m. at the high school auditorium.
The show's director is Isla Garza, a senior, who is staging
the fashion show for her senior project.
The cost of admission to the show is $3.
WASL informational meeting for parents at Pioneer Elementary
Parents of third and fourth grade students will have a
chance to find out about the WASL tonight (Thursday) from 6 to 7 p.m. at
Pioneer Elementary School.
The informational meeting will inform parents about what
kinds of things their children are asked to do on the WASL and will include

Irrigation water to be turned on in Grandview
GRANDVIEW - Irrigation water will be turned on for residents
of Grandview on Monday, April 3.
The city of Grandview is asking all water customers to make
sure their spigots are turned off and any necessary repairs be made before the
water is turned on next week.
