Sean D. Abrams, 38, of Yakima passed away Saturday, May 13, 2006, in Yakima.
He was born Sept. 12, 1967 in Prosser, to Danny R. and Lottie (Butler) Abrams. He received his education in Grandview. Following his education he worked for the City of Grandview. On March 13, 1988 he married Monica Gonzalez and they together made their home in Yakima. Sean worked for Highland Fruit and Weyerhauser, both of Yakima. He was currently employed as the business manager for Hall Chevrolet in Yakima.
He is survived by his wife, Monica Abrams of Yakima; his son, Jordan Abrams and daughter, Courtney Abrams, both of Yakima. He is also survived by his mother, Lottie Abrams of Pontiac, Ill.; his father, Danny Abrams and wife, Bert, of Grandview; his sister, Danielle Coyne of Pontiac; his grandmothers, Ruth Butler of Grandview and Darlene Valler of Sunnyside; his grandfather, Andy Abrams of The Dalles, Ore.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bert Butler and Kelly Howell.
Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2006, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, May 18, 2006, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. A memorial funeral service will be held Thursday, May 18, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Cornerstone Assembly of God, 400 North Ave., Sunnyside. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 18, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
