A woman reported to police that she was robbed after being shown a gun in the parking lot of Bank of America at about 5:30 p.m. last Friday. No further information was provided by police at press time.
From 8 a.m. last Friday to 8 a.m. this morning, eight thefts were reported and included:
-a stolen car from the 300 block of North 11th Street.
-a stolen stereo from a vehicle at North 9th Street and Yakima Valley Highway.
-a stolen vehicle at South 5th Street and East Franklin Avenue.
-a stolen vehicle from the 300 block of North 14th Street.
-stolen beer from the Outpost at 1825 Waneta Road.
-a stolen vehicle from the 100 block of Parkland.
-a stolen car stereo in the 300 block of South 13th Street.
-a stolen vehicle from the 500 block of Warehouse Road.
Over the period of three days, from Nov. 3 to Nov. 6, police responded to five alarm calls, four animal complaints, one assault report, one controlled substance report, one report of disorderly conduct, one DUI report, five fights, two graffiti reports, one harassment call, two intoxicated person reports, five juvenile problems, three reports of found property, one hit and run report, one loud music report, four 911 calls, two runaway juvenile reports and two reports of shots fired. They also responded to 12 calls regarding suspicious people or circumstances, two reports of threats, 12 traffic incidents and one report of vandalism.
Other services provided included serving 11 arrest warrants, providing agency assistance seven times, assisting citizens twice, providing two funeral escorts, recovering two stolen vehicles, two welfare checks and receiving seven informational calls.
