SHEILA M. FURGERSON
Sheila M. Furgerson, 62, of Rowe, Mass. and a former
Outlook resident, passed away Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at Franklin Medical
Center in Greenfield, Mass.
Sheila was born Sept. 13, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio, the
daughter of James C. and Verna L. (Myers) Furgerson. She lived in Poway, Calif.
and in Outlook. She moved to Rowe in 1999. She was a Vietnam veteran serving in
the U.S. Marines. She was an accountant for Rowe Camp and Conference Center.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Johnson of Nashville,
Tenn. and Bill Johnson of Prosser; one sister, Colleen Taylor of Odessa, Texas;
her step-father, Everett Siehe of Poway; her step-mother, Dorothy Furgerson of
Evansville, Ind.; her companion, Richard Alix; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter,
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at 3
p.m. at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 801 E. Lincoln Ave., Sunnyside.
Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, Shelburne Falls/Greenfield,
Mass. was in charge of arrangements.
Juan Zuniga, 78, of Granger passed away Friday, November 3,
2006, in Toppenish.
Juan was born Aug. 19, 1928, in Mission, Texas. He worked
as a farm laborer. Juan did mechanical work, carpentry and electrical work.
Juan enjoyed gardening, cooking, coloring, western movies
and country music.
Survivors include his wife, Angelita Chapa of Granger; five
sons, Juan Zuniga Jr. of Granger, Miguel Zuniga and wife, Corrina Sanchez, of
Sunnyside, Agapito Zuniga and wife, Julia Zuniga and Jose Zuniga and wife,
Casey Cardenas, all of Granger, Juan Manuel Diaz Zuniga of San Antonio, Texas;
three daughters, Luisa Zuniga Gonzalez and husband, Albert A. Limon, Martina
Zuniga and husband, Carlos Martinez and Maria Zuniga and husband, Guadalupe
Padilla, all of Granger; one brother, Guadalupe Zuniga of Mission, Texas; three
sisters, Estella Gonzalez of Mission, Texas, Aurora Diaz and Trinidad Lozano,
both of La Mesa, Texas; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, from 1 to 5 pm
and Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, from noon to 7 pm. with Recitation of the Rosary at
6 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home Chapel, Sunnyside. Funeral services will be
held Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home Chapel,
with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside. Valley Hills
