Guadalupe U. Gonzalez, 76, of Sunnyside died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006 in Richland.
He was born June 3, 1930 in Texas. He worked as a migrant farm laborer for many years in Texas, California and Washington. He had lived in the Sunnyside area for the past 10 years.
He is survived by five sons, Guadalupe Gonzalez Jr. of Sunnyside, Ricardo Gonzalez of Coachella, Calif., Carlos Gonzalez of Yakima, Alfredo Gonzalez of Granger and Ralph Gonzalez of Indio, Calif.; one daughter, Diana Gonzalez of Yakima; three brothers, Jose Gonzalez and Ramon Gonzalez, both of Sunnyside, and Encarcion Gonzalez of Granger; seven sisters, Valeriana Gonzalez of Coachella, Paula Herrera, Suzie Garcia and Suelema Garza, all of Indio, Juanita Gonzalez of McAllen, Texas, and Lupita Gonzalez and Maria Carillo, both of Mission, Texas; and 19 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Sunnyside, with Recitation of the Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home Chapel, Sunnyside.
