ELLENSBURG - The Grandview Greyhounds varsity boys cross-country team placed eighth at this past Saturday's Ellensburg Invite. They earned 239 points for their efforts at the meet.

Sophomore Jose Mendez placed 19th with a time of 13:56; freshman Jordan Sanchez placed 33rd with a time of 14:25; Koty Kollmar, a freshman, had a time of 14:51 and placed 51st; senior Marco Diaz placed 61st with a time of 15:15; sophomore Spencer Blanshan placed 82nd with a time of 16:03 and freshman Mickey Moorse took 86th place with a time of 16:30.

Three team members placed from the Greyhound girls varsity cross-country team. Senior Brittnee Sanchez placed third with a time of 15:44; Krystal Martinez, a sophomore, placed 29th with a time of 18:09 and freshman Vickey Hall placed 52nd with a time of 20:27.
