Cipriana Robledo-Anaya, 89, of Oregon City, Ore. died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006.

She was born in Burlington, Texas in 1917. She made her home in Uvalde, Texas for many years with her husband, Joaquin Rivera-Anaya, whom she married in 1934. In 1952 the family relocated to Outlook and later to Mabton.

Cipriana was a 20-year member of El Buen Pastor Holiness Church in Sunnyside. She was also a member of El Sendero de la Cruz Church in Moses Lake, where she later resided for 19 years. She then moved to Oregon City with her daughter and son-in-law, Margarita and Jose Issac Pe-a.

She is survived by three sons, Miguel, Simon and Raul Anaya; two daughters, Olga Trejo of Austin, Texas and Margarita Pe-a of Oregon City, Ore.; three sisters, Francisca Sedillo, Rosa Solis and Felipa Paderes, all of Austin Texas; and 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Cipriana was preceded in death by her husband, Joaquin Rivera-Anaya, in 1990; and a daughter, Virginia Anaya-Mendoza, in 1998.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home, 345 N. 11th Street, Sunnyside, with graveside services to be held Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Mabton City Cemetery. Valley Hills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
