TOPPENISH - It was another day, another sweep for the Grandview volleyball team, which cruised 3-0 past Toppenish last night.
The visiting Lady Greyhounds dispatched Toppenish 25-8, 25-5 and 25-6 in the CWAC match.
"It might have been a little bit of a mismatch," said Grandview Coach John La Fever.
Kealey Johnston and Kinzi Poteet dominated at the net, with 11 and 10 kills, respectively. "Kealey and Kinzi had good spiking games," La Fever observed.
Johnston also hustled for a team-high 12 digs. "She's a good player," La Fever said. "One of the better all-around players."
Chante Bottineau helped spark Grandview with 24 assists. "Chante's a good setter, she's a three-year starter," La Fever noted.
Teammates Raissa Licano and Christine Penwell pounded five and four kills, respectively.
Katie Veloz helped keep the ball alive for Grandview with nine digs.
Sydney Mottice capped off the match for the Lady Greyhounds with 10 consecutive service points-including five aces-during the third and final game.
Grandview (3-0, 3-0) returns to the court next Tuesday when it hosts East Valley.
