Veronica Ayala, 26, of
Sunnyside was tragically taken from us by a gunshot wound on
July 29, 2007
from her home in Sunnyside.
Veronica was born
, the daughter of Alfredo Ayala and Diana
Lee Cantu. Veronica received her education in Sunnyside, and later attended Job
Corps in White Swan.
She was a very happy person
who enjoyed joking, laughing, dancing, music and helping others. Veronica
expressed her feeling through writing and poetry. She adored her children and
cherished time spent with them.
Veronica is survived by her
companion, Humberto Flores; six children, Deondreh James Ayala, Sebastian Lee
Ray Ayala Garcia, Angel Ayala, Karizma Anjel Flores, Humberto Flores Jr. and
Phae Bian Angel Flores, all of Sunnyside; her parents, Diana Cantu and
stepfather, Juaquin Maciel, both of Sunnyside and Alfredo Ayala; her grandparents,
Ramiro and Ramona Vialon of Sunnyside; two sisters, Delinda Rodriguez (Steve)
and Erica Ayala of Grandview; four brothers, Lorenzo Lozano of Arizona,
Jonathan Vialon, Jessie Vialon and P.J. Cantu, all of Sunnyside; two aunts, Linda
Sarmiento (Bob) of Sunnyside and Mary Flores (Luis) of Grandview; and numerous
nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by
her daughter, Sabrina Liane Ayala; one brother; Alfredo Ayala Jr.; a niece,
Alyssa RaeAnn Ayala; and two uncles, Ray Vialon and Jesse Vialon.
A memorial Mass will be held
