Something needs to be done to save our Sunnyside High School boys basketball program.
I am tired of reading the box score and seeing repeated blowout losses. A lot can be learned from a loss, but I can tell you first-hand that blowout losses can be really discouraging for the young men on the team.
I have a few questions for the school district. Why wasn't an effort made to choose from a larger pool of coaches? What would you say the main reason is for the coaching staff to continue to change every few years? Finally, don't you wish you wouldn't have ran Jeff Thompson out of town (arguably one of the best basketball players and coaches ever to come out of Sunnyside)?
