Edra Jean Lee, 89, of Prosser entered into rest on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at Prosser Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 8, 1918 in Fargo, Okla. to Samuel and Mattie (Krider) Davis. The family lived in Colorado and Hermiston, Ore., before settling in Sunnyside, where she met and married Wesley Lee on March 8, 1938.

Edra and Wesley farmed in Grandview for more than 50 years, raising prunes and apples. Along with working on the farm, she was a devoted wife and mother.

She enjoyed crocheting and fishing.

She was a member of the Prosser Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.

Edra is survived by her grandchildren, David Solis and wife, Brenda, of Mabton, Sheryl Pelham and husband Rob, of Yakima, Clark Stern of Moses Lake and Debbie Heck of Seattle; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley, on Nov. 13, 2004; her children, Annabelle Crowley, June Lee, Ruth Solis and Allan Lee; two sisters; and four brothers.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the Prosser Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.

Prosser Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
