Lydia Deyo, 100, of Prosser died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Sun Terrace in Prosser.

She was born Jan. 13, 1907 in Samara, Russia.

On Oct. 3, 1925 she married Joe Deyo in Toppenish.

She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Howe of Yakima, Bonnie (Bob) Johnson of Prosser, and Wanda (Elton) Wheeler of Leavenworth; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Merk of Zillah and Roy Merk of Ahaheim, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Elizabeth Stencil; her husband, Joe Deyo; a son-in-law, Bernie Howe; and ten brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.

Those wishing to honor her memory may contribute to the Lower Valley Hospice.
