Adolph Trupp, 101, a long-time Grandview resident, went to be in the arms of his Savior on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006.
Adolph was born Dec. 20, 1905, in Russia, the son of Conrad and Elizabeth (Bostron) Trupp.
Adolph is survived by three daughters, Bettyjean Triplett and husband, Millard, of Federal Way, Marlene Lundburg and husband, Les, of Yakima, Shirley (Trupp) Lundberg and husband, Krohn, of Grandview; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Madalyn, in 1997; six brothers, Daniel Trupp, Henry Trupp, Conrad Trupp, John Trupp, Fred E. Trupp and Johannes Trupp; and five sisters, Elizabeth Hofferher, Anna Amen, Molly Wolfley, Edith Trupp and Helen Trupp.
Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Sunnyside, with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial in Sunnyside. Those wishing to honor Mr. Trupp's memory may contribute to the Calvary Lutheran Church. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
