JESUS VERDIN TRUJILLO
Jesus Verdin Trujillo, 30,
of Mabton passed away Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007.
He was born June 5, 1976, in
Tulare, Calif. to Jose Jesus Trujillo and Maria Consepcion Verdin. At the age
of 7, he with his family moved to Mabton. Jesus received his education in
Mabton, graduating with the Mabton High School Class of 1995. He worked for
various farmers throughout the Valley and also M & E Seed and Grain in
On June 20, 1998, he married
Ermila Calderon in Granger. Following their marriage they made their home in
Jesus was a member of the
Catholic Church. He enjoyed music, rap and R & B, fixing Impala cars and
drawing. Jesus loved his family and cherished time spent with his children.
He is survived by his wife,
Ermila Trujillo of Grandview; his son, Jesus Angel Trujillo and his daughter,
Belen Alexis Trujillo, both of Grandview. He is also survived by his parents,
Jose Jesus Trujillo of Seattle and Maria Verdin of Mabton; three sisters, Elida
Espinoza-Trujillo and husband, Juan Espinoza, of Mabton, Socorro Trujillo and
husband, Marcos Valencia, of Yakima, and Veronica Vargas-Trujillo and husband,
Jorge Vargas, of Toppenish; two brothers, George Trujillo and wife, Sabrina
Gonzales, of Mabton and Adan Nonato and wife, Diana Herrera, of Sunnyside, and
a one-half brother, Ramon Trujillo; two-half sisters, Concepcion Trujillo and
Emily Trujillo, and one-step sister, Yolanda Arrellano; and numerous, aunts,
uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing and visitation will
be held Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary to be
recited at 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial
will be held Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in
Sunnyside, with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
