Mary Therese 'Terry' Owens,
53, of Pasco passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at her home.
‘Terry,' as she was known to
all of us, was born in Pasco on June 3, 1954, to Steve Severson and Pricilla
Terry was an avid animal
lover. She was an accomplished equestrian, learning horsemanship from her years
of working at the Cloninger's Canter Club then in Kennewick. She spent summers
showing her American saddlebred brilliant.
Terry moved with her family
to the Yakima Valley, where she met and married Mike Baysinger. Terry and Mike
had two sons, Nathan and Seth Baysinger. They relocated to Irrigon, Ore., for
In later years, Terry
relocated to the Yakima Valley, where she met Ron Owens. Ron and Terry had a
daughter, (Mandi) Amanda Owens.
Terry's work history was predominantly in sales and marketing including
business sales with Richland Chamber of Commerce and Merit Resources in
Sunnyside. She also had a heart for people in need, evidenced by the many hours
at local Rescue Missions and other organizations.
Terry's children and her
friends were her most treasured assets. All that know her will remember her
wonderful quick wit and unmistakable laugh.
We will miss her.
Terry is survived by her children,
Nathan Baysinger of Richland, Seth Baysinger of Benton City, and daughter,
Amanda (Owens) Brown and husband, Clayton Brown, of Bothell; her grandchildren,
Bret, Cadin and Austin; a sister, Patty (Severson) Loud and husband Jake, of
Terry was preceded in death
by her parents, Steve Severson and Pricilla Jenkins; and a sister, Christy.
A celebration of Terry's
life is scheduled for today, Monday, July 24, 2007, at 4 p.m. at Einan's
Funeral Home, 915 Bypass Highway, Richland.
