Valenzuela Sr. in

Elsa

Texas

. The Valenzuela family moved to the

Satus

area in 1950 then in 1970, the family moved to Sunnyside.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside.

She enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking and taking care of her family. She is survived by one son,

Esiquio

(Cisco) Valenzuela and wife, Christine, of Sunnyside; one daughter, Elsa Valenzuela of Sunnyside;

numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Erma Gutierrez of

Realitos

; and two stepbrothers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,

Esiquio

Valenzuela; one brother,

Trindad

Valenzuela; and two sisters,

Idolina

Flores and Guadalupe

Ballesteros

.

Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2007, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, June 7, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside.

Burial will be at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
