GARY DUANE LEWIS SR.
Gary Duane Lewis Sr., 60, of
Outlook died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at his home.
He was born Oct. 6, 1946, in
Sunnyside to George Alfred Henry and Marjorie Blanche (Besst) Lewis.
On May 25, 1978, he married
Linda Kay Hanks in Prosser.
He is survived by his loving
wife, Linda K. Lewis of Outlook; four daughters, Sarah Stokes and husband,
Newell, Debra Tilley and husband, Shawn, all of Albany, Ore., Lavella Blanche
Lewis of Rochester, Wa. and Devin Lewis and finance, Alex Alaniz of Sunnyside;
and one son, Gary Duane Lewis Jr. of Sunnyside. He is also survived by his
mother, Marjorie Colbert of Sunnyside; six sisters, Opal Stice of Poulsbo,
Carol Zavala and Jeannie Getsinger, both of Mabton, Ida Acosta of Yakima, Neoma
Dawson and Donna Colbert, both of Grandview; and two brothers, Merle Lewis of
Grandview and Fred Lewis of White Swan.
He was preceded in death by
his father, George Lewis; a daughter, Rachel Lewis; a sister, Betty Rose Lewis;
and a brother, George David Lewis.
Viewing and visitation will
be held Thursday, March 1, 2007, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in
Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 2, 2007, at 1 p.m. at
Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial
Family and friends are
invited to share in fellowship and refreshments immediately following the
service at Sunnyside Community Center, Southhill Road. Smith Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
