Tara Robert and lifelong partner Saul Saenz went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007.

Tara Ann Robert, 41, a long-time Mabton, Sunnyside and Wenatchee resident, and recently a Las Vegas, Nev. resident, passed away from being murdered.

Tara was born June 24, 1965, in Prosser to Jim and Helen Robert. Tara received her education in Mabton.

Tara met the love of her life, Saul Saenz, in 1990, and stayed with him until the end.

Tara worked at home taking care of our mom, (Helen), until her death in 2005.  She loved drawing, painting, anything to do with crafts and spending time with family, friends and her dog.

Tara is survived by two brothers, Robert (Bob) Pierce and wife, Yvonne, of Nevada and Doug David of Dayton, Wa.; one sister, Robin Tracy and husband, Dave, of Winthrop; one nephew, R.L. Pierce of Nevada; four nieces, Stacy and Jennifer Pierce, Sarah Appling and partner, Rennie, and baby to be, Justice, all of Yakima, and Rebecca Robert and partner, Mike, and their children, Damien, Amber and Brandi, all of Yakima.

Tara was preceded in death by lifelong partner, Saul Saenz; her father, Jim Robert; her mother, Helen Ried; and one brother, Gary David.

A memorial potluck in honor of Tara will be held Saturday, March 17, 2007, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Eagles, 100 E. South Hill Road in Sunnyside. Davis Funeral Home in Las Vegas, Nev. is in charge of arrangements.
