Three arrested in connection with drive-by shooting

GRANDVIEW - Three arrests have been made following a drive-by shooting in Grandview this past Tuesday afternoon, in which a 13-year-old boy was shot in the foot.

According to Grandview Detective James Driscoll, Prosser police arrested two juvenile males, ages 16 and 15, as well as Jose Jesus Mancilla, 24. The arrests occurred Wednesday in Prosser.

Driscoll said Grandview police are requesting the juveniles be charged with drive-by shooting, as well as assault in the first degree. Charges requested for Mancilla include drive-by shooting, assault in the first degree and felon in possession of a firearm.

Driscoll added that a firearm believed to have been used in the incident has been recovered.
