Eluteria S. Juarez, 82, a
longtime Valley resident, passed away Friday, May 18, 2007, surrounded by her
loving family at her home in Sunnyside.
She was born April 18, 1925,
in Asherton, Texas to Jose and Severa Salinas. On April 28, 1945, Eluteria
married Primitivo Juarez in Forsyth, Mont.
Eluteria enjoyed sewing,
baking and spending time with family.
She was a member of the
Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus Church.
She is survived by her
husband, Primitivo Juarez; fours sons, Hector Juarez and wife, Maria, and Joel
Juarez and wife, Nina, all of Everett,
Ruben Juarez and wife, Elodia, of Fresno, Calif., Carlos Juarez of
Oceanside, Calif.; two daughters, Rosa Espinoza and husband, Abelino, of
Fresno, and Blanca Alvarez and husband, Jesse, of Sunnyside; 13 grandchildren
and 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Reynaldo Salinas, Eberto Salinas
and Alejandro Salinas; and two sisters, Gregoria Ortiz and Elizabeth Maes.
Eluteria was preceded in
death by her parents; two infant sons, Roberto and Abner Juarez; two brothers,
Adalberto Salinas and Nate Balderas; one sister, Mary Ruiz; two
great-granddaughters, Eva Falcon and Sapphire Jade Jalifi.
Viewing and visitation will
be held Thursday, May 24, 2007, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Apostolic Assembly of
the Faith in Christ Jesus. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 25, 2007,
at 11 a.m. at the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus. Burial will
follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, under the direction of
Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside.
