DESERT AIRE - The Sunnyside Black Rock Creek team earned a second place finish at last week's stop on the 2007 Columbia Basin Senior Tour.

Last week's second place finish allowed the Sunnyside team to maintain its grip on the top spot in the 2007 points standings. On the net side (actual score minus handicap), Black Rock Creek was led by Del Guthmiller and Ron Kroger, both of whom carded rounds three strokes below their scoring average. In addition to the two net 69's from Guthmiller and Kroger, Black Rock Creek's Stan Davis scored a net 70.
Picking up the lone gross skin of the day was Black Rock Creek's Mike Stegeman. He scored a birdie on the par-3 14th hole, which earned him a $194 cash payout.
Nozaka claimed KP honors on No. 14, good for a $32.33 payout.
