Edward A. Schoonover, 72, of Outlook passed away Monday, May 28, 2007, at Yakima Memorial Hospital.

He was born on April 7, 1935, in Odessa, the son of Royden and Mary (Fredrick) Schoonover. He received his education in Odessa and Montana. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a truck driver for Superior Asphalt and Pistoresi Cattle Hauling.

He is survived by three children, Karl Schoonover of Medical Lake, Cindy Fay (Tim), of Burien and Darwin Schoonover of Spokane; four grandchildren; two brothers, Royden Schoonover Jr. of Toppenish and Charlie Schoonover of Lind; and longtime companion, Mary Bryant of Outlook.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Tim Schoonover.

Viewing will be held Friday, June 1, 2007, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Wapato Assembly of God in Wapato.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Medical Lake Cemetery and Association in Medical Lake. Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in charge of arrangements.
