Gerardo Ramos, 50, of Rock Island died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Sunnyside Community Hospital.

He was born in Michoacan, Mexico. He worked in agriculture.

He is survived by his spouse, Guadalupe Ramos of Rock Island; six sons, Urial Ramos, Jesus Ramos, Leopoldo Ramos, Mario Ramos, Saul Ramos and Christian Ramos, all of Rock Island; two daughters, Helda Maria Ramos of Wenatchee and Lupe Ramos of Rock Island; 13 brothers, Carlos Ramos of Grandview, Jesus Ramos and Mario Ramos, both of Outlook, Manual Ramos, Rafael Ramos and Javier Ramos, all of Granger, Umberto Ramos of Quincy, Jaeme Ramos of Sunnyside, Eliasar Ramos and Gestavo Ramos, both of Rock Island, Salvador Ramos, Camillo Ramos and Jose Ramos, all of Mexico; and four sisters, Teresa Ramos of Granger, Margarita Ramos of Selah, Blanca Ramos of Rock Island and Maria Ramos of Mexico.

Viewing will be held today, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Sunnyside. Burial will be held in Mexico.

Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in charge of arrangements.
